We reserve the right to refuse and/or cancel sales at our discretion.
Refunds, Exchanges, Returns
No 'change of mind' returns or exchanges are offered. Please keep in mind, we offer and accept pre-orders in good faith, and bags are made to order; we are unable to 'swap' a bag you ordered one month for a bag made available in a following month.
We can only replace items if they are significantly defective or damaged, and remind customers certain details perceived by the customer to be 'defects' may simply be a characteristic of handmade craftsmanship and working with natural materials.
In the instance of genuine defect or damage, replacement or reimbursement will be discussed. Where replacements are unavailable, a refund may be the only alternative. If the bag arrives with a minor defect, please email so we can discuss options for repairs! Due to international postage times and prices, it may be easier if you take your bag for a local repair, and we will reimburse the cost. If you need to discuss a refund, repair or replacement, send us an email, including relevant photographs.
Postage and Shipping
We cannot be held responsible for damage, theft, or loss that occurs during postage, and as such our shipping prices reflect both full insurance and tracking numbers. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide an up to date postage address, and where tracking indicates a parcel has been delivered, our responsibility to the customer is completed and it is the responsibility of the customer to pursue the issue with their local post system.
Should an item fail to arrive, or arrive damaged, please contact us at to initiate an investigation/insurance payout. Processing of loss/damage costs is completed in cooperation with Australia Post, and as such happens at their speed - reparations will only be offered once Australia Post completes their investigation. Please note replacement/exchange is subject to availability - as our collections are limited in number, a refund may be the only option.
Postage times will vary depending on your location and seasonal variations (Black Friday sales + the lead up to Christmas inevitably lead to shipping delays). We cannot be held responsible for this, and request your patience during these times.
Shipping on all pre-orders is free in the first instance, and includes tracking and insurance in case of loss or damage during transit. Please be aware we have no say in whether Australia Post chooses to pay out insurance. If subsequent deliveries are required due to postage issues (including but not limited to: non-delivery, return to sender, or any other situation that is out of our control) the cost of postage will be the responsibility of the customer.
We are not responsible for paying customs tariffs, taxes or duties. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient. We are unable to mark down the value of your purchase on custom declarations, please do not request we do so.
Payment plans for customers are available by request and at the discretion of the business owner. Duration and payment rates and dates are to be agreed between the buyer and business.
- Non-refundable $60AUD admin fee applies in instances of payment default or cancellation.
- Maximum payment plan duration of 8 weeks applies, unless otherwise negotiated with the seller. Should this be exceeded without discussion with the business, the business will send one reminder. Should this reminder be ignored, your payment plan will be terminated and $60AUD of your deposit is forfeit to cover our admin time. Buyer should be aware that should this occur, the buyer may be banned from purchasing with the business in future.
These are items that are not yet available to dispatch; you are paying to secure an item ahead of manufacture. The estimated turnaround time is stated in the listing.
Pre-order is placing your order in advance, and requires either a deposit (in the instance of payment plans), or payment in full. The balance must be paid in full before the item is sent.
Customer Service Expectations
At Wicker Darling, we strive to provide a high level of customer service.
We want your experience of Wicker Darling to be joyful and wonderful, from the moment you discover our latest design, to placing your order, to receiving your bag at the other end - and every interaction with us in between!
To that end, our customer service team dedicate themselves to providing friendly, prompt, and attentive customer service. We will always act to resolve any problems encountered to the best of our ability where it is within our means to do so.
In return, we expect that customers (and would-be customers) to interact with us in a respectful, patient, and polite manner.
Should one of our customer service members feel that an interaction is passive aggressive, rude, threatening, or abusive in nature - to either the customer service rep, to Jasmine, or the business in general - the entire Wicker Darling Team will review the context and content of the messages.
If the team agrees a line has been crossed, we may choose to terminate the interaction and cancel/refund any existing orders without warning.
Terms and Conditions
1. A deposit (per our payment plan terms and conditions) OR full payment is required to secure your order. Payments can be made through the shop listing via AfterPay (for Australian residents), PayPal, or credit card. Partial payments are available through PayPal; please fill in the payment plan request form found in the bag listing during the pre-order period.
2. Balance must be paid in full before item is shipped.
3. Estimated Turnaround and Time of Arrival will be stated in the item listing at the shop. Please note this is an estimate only, based on average manufacturing times and sea-freight times. Actual time of arrival may vary. Where timing is different to that statement, customers will be informed by both email (from firstname.lastname@example.org), notifications will be posted on Instagram - @wickerdarling, and to our updates page.
4. Cancellation: Pre-ordered items are considered sold, no change of mind refunds are available.
5. Pre-ordered items must be paid in full within 8 weeks of purchase. Should the customer fail to pay within this timeframe without attempting to explain the situation to Wicker Darling, we reserve the right to cancel your order, refund your payments, minus a $60 forfeiture fee to cover administration, and sell the item to another customer.
6. Should an interruption negate manufacturer/availability of goods, all deposits/payments will be refunded in full.
7. Payment plans without any payment made will be automatically cancelled should payment not be made by the cutoff date, as stated in the listing.
8. All pre-order items are considered SOLD & FINAL: no returns/exchange/ cancellation after payment is made.
9. By placing an order, customers indicate they are aware the item is pre-order, full payment must be made before shipping, that the turnaround time is an estimate only and subject to change, and all other conditions as outlined above.
10. It is the customer's responsibility to advise Wicker Darling via email (email@example.com) should the customer's address change before the arrival of pre-ordered bags. Customer must advise every bag they are expecting. Wicker Darling will reply to confirm notification; should you not receive a reply, please contact us again.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Orders must be placed by the person intending to purchase the product. Orders cannot be made on behalf of another person, business, or entity. This policy excludes traditional gifts. If an order is placed that we believe or are informed is on behalf of another person, business, or entity, the order will not be processed and any monies sent will be refunded.
You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.
The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.
We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e‑mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
